Bevin Dooley is an author of plays, poems and short stories. Readings and stagings of her plays have been presented at the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival, the Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival, and the SkirtsAfire Festival. Her short story, “Madonna With Teeth” was recently shortlisted for Geist Magazine’s Can’t Lit Without It CanLit Short Story contest. By day, Bevin works for Alberta Playwrights’ Network. She spends her summers with the Writers’ Guild of Alberta’s WordsWorth Camp, encouraging an adoration of both written and spoken word in youth. She is based in Edmonton, Alberta.
